Course e-mails

Also in the same document, I've included some items that I include in my own sailing course e-mails. Following up after a course can be a good way for course students to take information in and reinforce their understanding of what they were doing on the water.

I tend not to like people reading up too much before their first course because they can't put things into context until they've had some time in a boat, and you could get side-tracked with too many questions about something you've not come onto yet. I do think it's helpful to follow up after their course though, to help reinforce what they've learned.
